Tamara Devereux

eLearning Designer & Developer

Personal Profile

Instructional Designer

I have been training, creating courses and managing teams for more than fifteen years. Recently I decided to take my instructional design skills to the next level and earned a master's degree that emphasized the technical, aesthetic, and intellectual skills needed to analyze and develop elearning courses. The program was international in scope, drawing upon scholars and students from all over the globe.

eLearning Developer

I develop online courses with both Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline -- and I’m constantly updating my skills and challenging myself to learn more advance skills to create even more exciting and engaging interactions.

Of course each project is different as each client is different, but the goal is the same - to teach the learner in a way that is fun, efficient and engaging.

Specialties & Interests

Creating exciting, motivating and engaging elearning experiences is my passion. I specialize in Storyline 2 for Instructional Development, and I also use Camtasia, Captivate, Audacity and the Adobe Creative Suite.

When not designing or developing you will find me:

  • Playing Virtual Reality Games on my PS4 with my triplets.
  • Traveling and exploring new places.
  • Reading at least three books at once.
  • Hosting a hilarious round of scoopball in the backyard.
